I am an Ann Arbor native and a product of Ann Arbor Public Schools. I stayed local and completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan. GO BLUE! I graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in Elementary Education with a major in Mathematics and a minor in Integrated Sciences. Later, I completed the Master of Reading Program at Eastern Michigan University. I began teaching in 2011, started in Ann Arbor in 2016, and joined the Mitchell community in 2019.
