I have been teaching since 2008, and have spent all of my years in Ann Arbor Public. I spent 4 years at Pioneer, 6 years at Skyline, and I have been a proud Panther since the 2017 school year. I enjoy teaching US History, Government, and Economics because I can incorporate real world issues into my curriculum and make learning relevant for my students. Outside of school, I spend most of my time coaching water polo. I have been the head coach at Skyline for the Women's team since 2011, and head coach of the Men since 2013. My coaching accolades in include 2 state championships (2015 men and women), 2 Michigan coach of the year awards (2015, 2016), and a National High School coach of the year award (2016) and have produced 5 All-American athletes. in 2012, I also co-founded Wolverine Water Polo, a local water polo club servicing southeastern Michigan with the mission of growing the sport of water polo, and giving athletes an opportunity to play all year long.
